Back and forth the pendulum swings skyward As she tries to touch the emerald-speckled scales Dancing in gales. Icy missiles cascade About as she laughs against thunder, clutching Chains. "This is freedom," she says, defiant, Eyeing the white forks streaking groundward. Sunlight shines, a new day awakens To the hark of metal upon metal, Link upon link. "This is freedom," she smiles. I'm a student at Vanguard University majoring in English. I was a missionary kid to Cameroon, Africa until I graduated boarding school and left to attend Vanguard. This is just sad...

Okay, now this is just sad. I mean, I've been on dA, but I seriously haven't posted a new journal entry since September?! I'm so lazy. :XD: All right, so I'm here now. It's summer. I'm back to the States in two days with a short side trip to Holland first. Then it's getting settled, and then off to university. Yay me. I survived high school. I'm also quite embarrassed about the artwork that's up still. I really have improved but, since I'm lazy, there's simply no proof of that. I might get motivated one of these days... ;p

Hey, everyone. I didn't even say goodbye last time I was on! ...Proof that I'm just *that* lazy. -_- Sorry! *sigh* Anyways, did you all have a nice Easter? I didn't really do much. I wasn't even home for it. Our break--obviously--ended long before Easter, so I, for the first time ever, was not with my family. It was horrible! Man, I hate the hostel, let alone having to spend a...family holiday with them. I mean, I know Easter is a holiday for everyone--it's the day Jesus rose from the dead--but...it's special. *sigh* This is probably a good thing for me. It teaches me to love my enemies, I guess. Psh, and I'm definately enemies with my hoste
